Chapter 1In the beginning.

Equipment: 25 of each reagent, saw, tinker tools, pick axe, hatchet, butcher knife, spell book, scissors, a few scrolls, blank scrolls, a few potions, sewing kit, 1500gp.

Carpentry, Blacksmithing, & Tinkering

I started off my life chopping trees, saving wood and building my STR, and my lumberjacking skills. I will work on this until I reach 50.0. I am using UOAssist & UOLoop to help me with this. But the only problem I face so far is the hatchets get destroyed after about 200 logs... or about 45 minutes of lumberjacking. I am in or near the city of Minoc. Ill re-post once I hit 50.0 in Lumberjacking.

this is pretty fast, all things considered. I only macro Mining when im on, becuse of the loss of pickaxes and the constant battle for positions against other newbies.

I was going to work on Lumberjacking, but was getting Pked... So I decided to stay in the newbie mines until i can properly defend myself. I will try to GM mining before I move onto Lumberjacking.

I have discovered a new program called UOPilot. This program allows me to work on other programs while UO is minimized and I can still macro, such a big help. I just need to figure out the script part so i can macro mining.... I will check back in a couple days.

I found a partner to macro with so now things are going much faster. I am in the Newbie mines if you just started, Ill be more than happy to help you out.

It has been a few more days than usual. But I have alot of progress, any NEWBIES looking for me, I am no longer able to enter into the NEWBIE DUNGEON, becuse I have raised my fighting skills way to high to enter. According to GM Adidas -=420=- once any of your fight skills pass 75.0 you are no longer able to enter the NEWBIE DUNGEON. I suggest to all NEWBIES to stay in the NEWBIE MINES until you Gm mining and blacksmithy... otherwise your going to be out in the wild and fighting off (or running) from guardians. I would work on all combat skills way later in the game.... Save up for a house or just GM all crafting skills. Check back in a few more days.

So i have been Gming skills for a few, and have finally been working on ( im sure) one of the hard ones to GM, and that is Healing. After 4 days of macroing healing I have only reached 80.9 but it is a gradual change.. I think I gain around .3 every hour or 2... I cant sit here to see becuse I have to work. But, this is a hard skill....

After this skill is maxed out it will be parrying.. and then a craftable skill like blacksmithing with mining... not sure just yet. Im sure I have plenty of time to think about it! :] But I do love this shard, I do wish more people would suck it up and stay here and play.. If you stay others will play here... this is truly a great hard worked and well thought out server...

After 2 more days of non-stop macroiing healing... I HAVE FINALLY GMed IT!! Wow, 6 days of healing... cant wait to see how insane magery is.... or any of the crafting skills!

A few more days and alot more is done. I have been a macro machine for a few days now and it is finally paying off.

After i gm parrying (by morning, ill work on magery or archery... not sure yet.

So i have chosen Magery and Meditation as my next to skills to GM... Obviously this is gonna take along time (becuse i need gold to purchase reagents) but im not at all discouraged. I have found a nice quiet, somewhat monster free area to do my macroing andI train here every night after I kill monsters all day.

So when I started both skills were at 25.0 (thats what you can buy your skills up to here.) and after one day of macroing poison spell and meditation I have gone up alot. Im just not sure what skill I should macro now to get bigger gains... Maybe ill stick with Poisoning and then try fire field ( to work on resist). Talk at you soon!

Ok, so without a doubt thus far.... Parrying and Magery are hard as hell! lol, but i love it. I have been working on magery for about 2 days now and it has gone up alot... just when you hit 70s.... it grinds down to a halt.

I tried a few other spells but they cost more to cast and it just does not seem as effective. So, I say just cast poison till Gm. Its cheap(er) and its a 1 reagent spell. I have a macro for UOpilot if you wish to use it.

Tryed my macro again 2 days ago it wont work i dontknow whats wrong =)

I suck at this Uopilot, been reading your manual about it dont get mutch i tell you =)

Sorry i have been gone for so long. So I have GM in a few more skills, which ill post at a later time. Archery is a hard skill to build. I am doing all the Bard skills right now, and have GMed them all in 2 days. Discordance is a 24 hour macro. Hitting the dungeons tonight, if anyone wants to meet up!

I know it has been a long time! I have been working on Alchemy for the last 4 weeks... and only have it at 74.3! hahaha this is absolutley the hardest and most wonderful skill.. so i see no reason to make it easy! When I GM this dude, ill be make pots for all who need!
